Obituary of Lawrence Childers

Lawrence Childers of Eugene died Dec. 25 of age-related causes. He was 90. No service is planned.He was born Feb. 5, 1921 in Myrtle Creek to Lawrence Leslie and Lelia Childers.He married LaFern Linnell on Oct. 10, 1942 in Roseburg. She died in 1980.He married Evelyn Puser on Oct. 21, 1987 in Reno, Nev. She later died.He was a fire warden for the Douglas Forest Protective Association.Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Linton of Eugene; Sandra Damon of Medford; and Beverly Dingle of Springfield; a sister, Ardath Waddle of Eugene; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.A son, Rodney Childers, and a daughter, Leslie Childers, preceded him in death.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
