Obituary of Thomas Yung

The family of Thomas Yung is deeply saddened to announce hispassing on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in their presence at Markham StouffvilleHospital.Thomas leaves behind a large and loving family whichincludes his dear wife of 51 years, Doris; three cherished sons, Christopher(May), Francis (Chandi) and Shane (Jaclyn); and six beloved grandchildren,Madeleine, Isabelle, Lauren, Aydin, Ethan and Kai. He had a deep fondness forall of his brothers, sisters, in-laws and their families. He adored his many niecesand nephews. Thomas was born and raised in Calcutta, India then travelledacross the world to settle eventually in Markham, Ontario. He was a kind,generous and fun loving man who kept his old friends close to his heart and metmany new ones along the way. With a bright smile on his face, he always madesure everyone was well taken care of, well fed and had a drink in their hand.Thomas made a lasting impression on everyone he met and willbe sorely missed by all. For safety reasons due to the current situation, a privatefamily service was held. A memorial will be held for friends and family at alater date and will be announced in the future.
