It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Malcolm MacKeigan, beloved husband, father and papa, at the age of 75 on Saturday March 14th, 2020 at the Guelph General Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was the son of the late John Norman and Edna (MacAulay) MacKeigan. He grew up in Hillside Mira, Nova Scotia and then moved to Bolton, Ontario where he met his loving wife Linda of 51 years. He is the loving father of Kimberley MacKeigan (Vaughn Wamboldt), Cindy MacKeigan, proud grandfather of Tyler and Aiden, and dear Uncle to Walter (Krista) Bruce. Malcolm spent most of his adult life as a mechanic and transport driver in Southern Ontario. Malcolm is survived by his sisters Marjorie (Blaise), Kaye (Eddie), Norma and Barbara, his Aunt Isabel Hall, Uncle Norman MacAulay and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Donald, John, Arthur, David and Stewart, his nephew Ian and his sister Flora. He will be sadly missed, his smile, his sense of humour and his love of plaid shirts. A private visitation followed by a family service will take place at the Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road Brampton, on Friday March 20th, 2020 at 12:00pm.
