Obituary of Praim Ramjattan

Praim Ramjattan, age 82 was welcomed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on March 10, 2020. He was born in Georgetown, British Guiana on May 4, 1937. He lived in British Guiana until 1969 when he emigrated with his family to Canada. He graduated from Central High School in Georgetown and then proceeded to work for the government as a land surveyor where he travelled the country. In Canada, he obtained his degree in Business administration at York University. He worked for the Ministry of Transportation for 35 years as an engineering auditor. He lived his life humbly and peacefully and though he had many talents and skills which were passed to his children, he selflessly put recreations aside, and took early retirement to devote his time to caring for his family. The name Praim means 'love' and he lived up to that definition. He married the love of his life Patricia Ramcharitar on March 22, 1959. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, his three children Chris, Steve, Ann and many other close relatives.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bethell House and all the angelic staff who diligently helped him pass in peace.
