Obituary of Steve Szalay

Peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Beloved husband of Lynda (nee Weagant). Loving father of Stephen (Alicia) and Kimberley (Chad). Cherished Grandpa/Papa of Brandon, Alexis, Cameron, Daniel and Darya (twins) and Abbygail; and Uncle to Peter (Edit) and Niece Anna (Szombathely, Hungary).Steve immigrated to Canada in 1957 from Hungary. He was a very proud Canadian.Steve was proud of his lifetime occupation as an electrician serving with the IBEW Local 353. He loved his family and his many vacations in Hawaii with the love of his life Lynda of 56 years.At Steve’s request there is no public funeral service.
