Obituary of Carie-Anne Dunscombe

After a short but courageous battle with breast cancer, it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Carie-Anne Dunscombe on Sunday March 8th 2020, at the Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 48 surrounded by her family and friends. Loving mother of Megan and Kent; precious daughter of Doreen Doyle; beloved partner of Paul Ryan (Daughter – Elyssa Ryan); cherished sister of David (Anne-Marie), Steve (Melissa), and Andrew (Jessica). Carie will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews as well as her extended family and friends. A long time employee of the Region of Peel and Maple Leaf Sports she will be sorely missed by many. Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas St.) on Sunday March 15th from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 16th at 3pm with a reception to follow. Donations in memory of Carie can be made to Megan’s efforts with Relay for Life in memory of her mother or to an education/life fund that has been established for her children.
