Laura HudsonLaura W. Hudson of Eugene died Jan. 2 of cancer. She was 66. A private service is planned for a later date.She was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Edgemont, Mass., to Jerome and Zelma Bullock Hudson. She married Joe Kunkle on Feb. 5, 1999, in Eugene.She graduated from Lane Community College with a nursing degree. She worked as a licensed practical nurse in the gerontology department at Good Samaritan Society in Eugene for 10 years.Survivors include her husband; a son, Jason Vaughn of Jackson, Mo.; a daughter, Andrea Hudson-Vaughn of Eugene; two sisters, Hazel Pothel and Yovonne Hudson; a brother, Kitridge; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
