Obituary of Michele Belvedere

MICHELE (MICHAEL) PAOLO BELVEDEREFOREVER IN OUR HEARTS ....It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Michele Paulo Belvedere on March 6th, 2020 in his 77th year, surrounded by his loving family. Michele was born on January 12th, 1943 to Francesco and Adelina (nee Ventura) in Cosenza, Italy. At 13 years of age, he emigrated from Italy to Canada with his parents, brothers and sisters. In Canada, he met his beloved wife Joanne of over 55 years and together they raised their daughters Lori and Kelly. He was a loving, dedicated Nonno to Isaiah and Nevaeh, and Papa B to Brayden and Dalton. A dedicated family man, he shared many happy memories over the years. Michele leaves behind many cherished friends and relatives. Establishing himself in the sales industry, to starting his own sales consulting business, Michele's dedication, and strong work ethic created many long-lasting friendships. His first passion was his family, and truly enjoyed celebrating birthdays, holidays - he was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones. He had a real passion for golf which he played every chance he could and participated and won many tournaments.Compassion, generosity, passion, kindness, strength and humour were only a few of his greatest qualities. He taught us the importance of working hard, loving with all your heart and the importance of laughter. His sense of humour and smile and personality were infectious. His zest for life carried him through many difficult, trying times including the last 5+ years of a hard and valiantly fought battle with ALS. His strength was a true inspiration to us all. Michele will be sorely missed but in turn, leaves us with a legacy that we will cherish forever. Gone from this world but never, ever forgotten.
