Obituary of Paul Maligeorgos

September 9, 1947 - March 4, 2020It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Paul Maligeorgos. After a courageous battle with brain cancer, he died peacefully with his loving family at his side.Loving husband of 50 years to Fanny, Paul was loved and cherished by his children Zoi and James and his adoring grand-children Michael and Alessandro. Son of Demetrios (deceased) and Zoi Maligeorgos, loving brother to Panagiotis (deceased), Fani (Sam - deceased) Kirkopoulos, Gloria (Tom) Karpouzis, Vasilios (Christine), and Tina (Louis) Milevski.Good friend and loving brother-in-law to Freda (Elias - deceased) Mihail, Tina (Ted) Spiro, and Mabel (Stephen) Toulis. He was loved by his many nephews, nieces, and good friends both near and abroad. Paul will be resting at Highland Funeral Home, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham. Visitation on Monday, March 9 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, March 10 at 10am at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church. 11323 Warden Ave., Markham, followed by interment at Elgin Mills Cemetery.
