Obituary of Florencia Alfonso

It is with deep sadness that the family of Florencia Alfonso announce her peaceful passing at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on March 4, 2020 in her 70th year. Florencia is the beloved wife of Alfon Alfonso for over 45 years. Devoted mother of Joan Alfonso - Piche (Jason) and Azela Marie Smeulders (Gino). Florencia will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Juliana and Alyssa. Florencia leaves behind her 2 brothers and 7 sisters and their significant others. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Florencia will be remembered for her passion for cooking and love for food! The family would like to give a special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at Renal Department of Trillium Health Partners, Renal Department and ICU of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Friday March 13, 2020 from 6:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day at Glen Oaks Funeral Home at 4:00pm with the family accepting friends to gather an hour prior.
