Obituary of Edgardo Angulo

Edgardo (Edgar) Angulo returned to his heavenly home on March 3, 2020 after some periods of declining health. Despite these challenges, he always accepted these trials with strength and grace from the Lord which provided peace in his daily life.Edgar was born in Quezon, Quezon Philippines to Manuel (predeceased) and Cecilia Angulo (predeceased) and graduated from the FEATI University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Edgar and his family immigrated to Canada in October 1978 and had a thriving and successful career in the insurance industry for over 18 years. He married his wife Teresita on May 22, 1969 in Quezon, Philippines and they recently celebrated their Golden Anniversary. Edgar was blessed with two children Eymard and Celissa, his son in-law Richard and four grandchildren Aiden, Julian, Logan and Madison.Edgar was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his Toronto Raptors, Maple Leafs and Blue Jays teams. He knew all of their players, stats and supported them unfailingly. Edgar was a doting husband and father, always supporting his wife in her various Catholic ministries. Edgar was a strong family man and created many beautiful memories for his children frequently travelling to the United States to visit family and friends. He was a dedicated member of the local Quezonian association, often attending annual picnics and other social events. As a grandfather, he was also very active in his grandchildren’s activities from teaching them how to drive to extracurricular sports and dance to name a few.Edgar was best known for his humour and as the paparazzi “photographer” taking many pictures at any event he attended. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends, who now find joy that he has gone to his eternal reward and is seated at the banquet table with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.Edgar is survived by his wife, Teresita; his son Eymard; his daughter Celissa and son-in law Richard; his four grandchildren, Aiden, Julian, Logan, and Madison; his sisters, Ascension (Zony), Lualhati (Lolee), Marilou (Lydia), Ida; his brother Emmanuel (Ding); his sister in-laws Mercedes and Juliet; and brother in-laws Sergio Mercado (predeceased) Manuel (Boi) Reberedo, and Wilfredo (Popoy) Quemi
