Obituary of Maria Buffone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital at the age of 89. Born in the small village of Balsorano, Italy, she moved to Canada in 1964. Predeceased by her sisters Giuseppina, Ersilia and brother Pasquale and by deceased sister Concetta and brother Sabatino. She will be deeply missed by all her nieces and nephews and their children both in Canada and Italy. The family would like to thank the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, doctors and nursing staff for their kindness and compassion over the last five months.Family and friends will be received at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) Oakville on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be Celebrated on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Mary Mother of God Parish, 2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville at 12:30 p.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.Please take a moment to sign the online guestbook.
