Obituary of Luigina Ferraro

Luigina (Gina) Ferraro10/31/1939 – 03/02/2020Peacefully passed away on March 2, 2020, at the age of 80. Beloved Wife of Biagio for almost 53 years. Loving mother to her son Mike (Patty). Proud Nonna of Michaela and Matthew. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Maria (Franco) and Ada (Mimmo) and her brothers Luigi (Ada) and Baldo (Anna) in Italy and their families. Gina will be lovingly remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Known for her great sense of humour and excellent cooking skills, she was happiest when she was in her kitchen, cooking feasts for her family. And her home-grown and dried hot chilli pepper flakes were legendary with everyone who knew her. Gina leaves behind many other cherished friends and relatives.Visitation will take place at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, on Wednesday March 4th, 2020 from 6:00-9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be offered at Glendale Chapel on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Canada.
