Daphne WalwynVIDA — Daphne Eileen Stewart Walwyn of Vida died Jan. 11 of age-related causes. She was 94. A celebration of life is planned in the spring.She was born June 13, 1917, in London, England, to Alan and Stella Jeeves Stewart. She married Douglas Walwyn on Nov. 17, 1943, in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. He died in July 29, 2000.She attended Hawnes School for Girls in England and graduated from the University of Oregon Honors College in 1967. She was a homemaker, model, fashion designer and general contractor.Survivors include a son, Robert of Vida; a daughter, Katherine Walwyn Vollstedt of Eugene; a brother, Evan “Keith” Stewart of England; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
