Obituary of Rebecca Schneider

Rebecca SchneiderRebecca M. “Becky” Schneider of Eugene died Jan. 8 of complications following surgery. She was 96. At her request, no service is planned.She was born Oct. 30, 1915, in Portland to Gilbert and Mary Bess Dickson Overstreet. She married Louis Schneider on April 10, 1948, in Portland. He died in 1994.She held a degree in psychology from the University of Oregon. She worked as an audiometrist for the Oregon State Board of Health, was a homemaker and worked in reception at Senior Health and Wellness for nine years.Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jacobs and Barbara Holst, both of Eugene.Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to the P.E.O. Sisterhood scholarship fund, in care of Terry Briggs, 30316 Fox Hollow Road, Eugene.
