Obituary of Rita Lowdell

Rita LowdellVENETA — A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery for Rita D. Lowdell of Veneta, who died Jan. 12 of cancer. She was 76.She was born Jan. 25, 1935, in Seattle to Clarence and Ruth Hollis Dodge. She married Donald Lowdell on July 15, 1955, in Eugene.She attended Lane Community College for two years. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for 25 years.Survivors include her husband; a son, Mark of Eugene; two daughters, Marjorie Sumnall of Eugene and Virginia Whitehead of Ohio; two brothers; five sisters; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
