Obituary of John Krasnewych

After a courageous fight with cancer, John Krasnewych, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 17, 2020.John is survived by his wife Jane of 43 years, sons’ Ryan (Jen), Paul (Laura), and Sean (Megan). Dearly loved by his grand-girls Emery, Sophia, and Keira. Missed by countless family and friends. John was an altruistic father, mentor, and friend to many. He was always available to help, whatever the circumstances. He had a fond love for nature and animals. We will celebrate his calm demeanor, quiet nature, and quick wit.A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at both Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Centenary Health Network and LHIN for their loving care and support during the past months and his final days. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at McDougall and Brown on Thursday, February 20. Funeral services will be at McDougall and Brown on Friday, February 21, 5:00 pm with reception to follow.
