Obituary of Pook Leong Li Ying

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Pook Leong Li-Ying at the John Watt Extendicare in Mississauga, Ontario on Saturday February 8, 2020.Husband of Yvette for almost 70 years; Father of Kwet/Louis(Marie-Ange), KaLan/Joseph, Foon, Fee, Kiam/Jennifer(Oswald), and Delphine(Bruno); Grandfather of Jason (Jessica), Mervyn (Stacy), Jeremy (Rehana), Joshua, and Melanie; Great grandfather of Alexandra, Malcolm, Amelia, and Connor.He is survived by his elder sister, Li Pook Qiu, who is in Mauritius.He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, and friends.The family appreciates all the support and visits to our father during his long stay at the Mississauga Trillium hospital as well as at the nursing home.In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
