Obituary of Dorothy Troxel

Dorothy TroxelA graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene for Dorothy Luree Troxel of Eugene, who died Jan. 22 of age-related causes. She was 88. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.She was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Goshen to Fread and Katherine Levage Petzold. She married Delbert “Bud” Troxel on Aug. 9, 1947, in Vancouver, Wash.She graduated from Crow High School and attended Oregon State University. She was a homemaker and worked for Coast Refrigerated Transport.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Pam Halleman of Florence; a son, Rick of Eugene; a sister, Wanda Olsrud of Medford; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County.
