Obituary of William Sheppard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother William “Bill” Sheppard on Wednesday February 5th, 2020 at the Ian Anderson House in Oakville at the Age of 81, after a courageous five year battle with cancer.Cherished husband of Carol for 58 years. Loving father of Sherri (Richard Deschamps) Stephanie (Dave Shuart) Debra (Tim Cummings) Proud Grandfather of Sheldon and Shane Deschamps. Adored brother of Bonnie (Vic Beaulieu) Georgina (the late Les Few). Predeceased by his brothers Lornie (Judy) and Donnie (Brenda) Mitchell. Bill will also be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Bill enjoyed representing his fellow co-workers as Steward and Chairman of the UAW/CAW for the Ford Motor Company for 30 years.Bills family welcomes friends to join them at Glen Oaks Funeral Home 3164 Ninth Line Oakville, On Tuesday February 11th 2020. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, A Memorial Service from 11:00 am to 11:45am followed by a Reception from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.Donations in Bill’s memory can be made to the Ian Anderson House.
