Obituary of Valerie Hill

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at West Lawn Memorial Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Valerie Bain Hill of Creswell, who died Jan. 23 of complications from Wegener’s disease. She was 58. Visitation will follow the service.She was born Dec. 22, 1953, in Oakridge to Basil and Cleone Rogers Bain. She married Rick Hill on Jan. 7, 1972, in Vancouver, Wash.She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1972. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; her mother, now of Creswell; three sons, Brian of Springfield, Keith of Creswell and Jesse of Cottage Grove; four brothers, Lloyd Bain of Cottage Grove, Dan Bain of Roseburg, Kenneth Bain of Haines and Roger Bain of Creswell; and five grandchildren.Private burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
