Obituary of Matha Bursik

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Martha Marie Bursik of Eugene, who died Jan. 23 of age-related causes. She was 93 . A reception will follow the funeral at her daughter’s home in Eugene.She was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Comstock, Neb., to Joe and Emma Vodehnal Kluna. She married Vaclav Bursik on Sept. 25, 1950, in Eugene. He died in July 1995.She graduated from high school and was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Janette Little of Lincoln, Neb., and Margaret Swanson-Cargill of Eugene; two sisters, Edythe Klanecky of Eugene, and Minnie Meyer of Eureka, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
