Obituary of Robert Lyons

Robert Gene Lyons of Springfield died Jan. 29 at age 60. The family chose not to list the cause of death.A celebration of life is planned at a later date.He was born Aug. 12, 1951, in Lane County to Mary Mikle and Mac Lyons. He married Marcia George in October 1970. They divorced in 1975.He worked in concrete and construction.Survivors include his mother; a son, Christopher of Cottage Grove; a brother, Jack of Eugene; two sisters, Roxie Miller of Junction City and Dena Lyons of Mapleton; and four grandchildren.A grandchild, Kennedy Lyons, died previously.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to Oregon Hunters Association.
