She was the centre of our family, and will be in our hearts forever.Predeceased by her parents Dr. John and Dorothy Deeth. She was the daughter-in-law of Dr. George Henry and Mary Kitchen. Beloved niece to her Aunt Ruth Deeth, and Auntie Bud and Uncle Jim Rigbey. Born and raised in Toronto, some of her fondest childhood memories were summers in Bala with her cousins. She moved with George to Ottawa in 1970. Together they created the large close-knit family she had always desired. She was an educator, had a passion for interior design, and was a retired breeder of champion Old English Sheepdogs. She loved to cook, shop, and socialize with her network of close friends. Sue was a congregant of the South Gloucester United Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir. Our family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the Hematology Unit, and the Medical Day Care Unit of the Ottawa Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Sue’s memory may do so by making donations to the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, or Hospice Care Ottawa.
