Betty SwansonBetty Louise Swanson of Eugene died Jan. 29 of pancreatic cancer. She was 78. A celebration of life is planned at a later date.She was born Nov. 23, 1933, in Orient, Ill., to Oren and Florence Pearson Talley. She married Frank Swanson on Oct. 12, 1963, in Las Vegas. He died Jan. 30, 2012.She was owner and operator of Express Press Printing.Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Deguisne and Donna Compton, both of Eugene; two sons, Frank Swanson of New York City and Rick Davey of Canyon Lakes, Texas; a sister, Besse Gherna of Lawndale, Calif.; a brother, Robert Talley of Southern California; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
