Obituary of Kathleen Buermann

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Junction City for Kathleen M. Buermann of Eugene, who died Jan. 27 of age-related causes. She was 93.Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in St. Ignatius, Mont., to Dennis and Mary Gallagher Doohan. She married Robert Buermann on Aug. 16, 1939, in Eatonville, Wash. He died March 15, 1992.She graduated from high school and business school. She worked as a bookkeeper and was a homemaker.Survivors include six sons, Hugh of Cottage Grove, John of Junction City, Steven of Logsden and William, Joseph and Dennis, all of Burns; three daughters, Kareene Strom and Julia Albert, both of Eugene, and Bonnie Chandler of Hansville, Wash.; a brother, Dennis Doohan of Eatonville, Wash.; a sister, Peggy Ainslie of Seattle; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.Burial will follow the service at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Monroe.
