Obituary of Dorothy Olson

Dorothy OlsonThe funeral will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 4, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene for Dorothy Anna Olson of Eugene, who died Jan. 29 of age-related causes. She was 89. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.She was born Nov. 24, 1922, in Veblen, S.D., to Gilbert and Bertha Grannas Twite. She married Marvin Olson on June 16, 1949, in Veblen. He died Nov. 28, 1999.She worked at Sacred Heart hospital in the radiology department and in medical records.Survivors include four sons, Marcus, Walter and Roger, all of Eugene, and Brian of Terrace, B.C. ; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene.
