Obituary of Leontine Andries
Leontine (Lee) Andries: July 19, 1949 - January 11, 2020. Daughter of Charles and Irma Andries. Deceased Dear sister to Josee (Hubert) and loving Aunt to K-J and Stacey Laureyssens. Will be greatly missed by Peter Vardon, Helga Rohde, travelling companion Linda Anderson of 35 years and numerous friends and acquaintances. Lee was a retiree from Bell Canada where she worked for over 35 year and went to work with Munich Re Insurance for 15 years. She also was a Reiki Master and Animal Communicator and taught many courses in that regard. She loved her animals Abby and Olie and her cats Bo, Mia and Ming. Not to mention the wild city animals that came for a few morsels. She had numerous interests including chocolate making under the It's My Pleasure name and could make lace the real Belgian style. Taught Line Dancing for 16 years. In her early days she loved to sew and made many cloths for her and I. She even made all the dresses for my wedding including mine. She could do anything she put her mind to. Lee especially loved her garden and spent many hours there getting it ready in the spring so she could sit on her deck with a good book reading and admiring her hard work. The Celebration Of Her Life will be on Thursday January 23rd between 5 pm and 9 pm with a service on January 24th at 11 am with a luncheon after. All will take place at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home-Scarborough Chapel, located at 2900 Kingston Rd. Scarborough Ontario.
