Obituary of Bill Frederick White

Reading View. Press Alt Shift A for accessibility help.Bill (William)White was born in Toronto on March 10, 1958 to Dorothy and Fred White. He was the older brother to Steve White. He was very involved in scouting for many years. At a Scout Jamboree he met Cathy whom he married on June 30, 1979. They lived in Calgary for many years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his time near the mountains. Bill was the proud Dad to four amazing children Trish (Colin), Christine (Mark), Matt (Alicia) and Chris. Family was everything to Bill. He was the best Papa to four beautiful grand children Brooklyn, Austin, Adalynn and Hudson. Bill was very lucky to be able to travel the world on so many amazing vacations. His favourite was Alaska because of the wildlife encounters and the amazing food. He made sure to share his love of travel with all. Bill was a avid runner who ran many races with his favourite being the Walt Disney Marathon. Bill loved Disney World. He loved getting outside every chance he got whether it was to mountain bike , hike or just hang with his family. Sadly Bill lost his battle to ALS on January 14, 2020. He will be missed dearly by all his loved ones. Please join us in a Celebration of Life. As per Bill's request he asked that it be a very casual event and for everyone to wear their favourite sports team jersey.
