Obituary of Julia Anderson

JUNCTION CITY — The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City for Julia H. Anderson of Junction City, who died Feb. 1 of age-related causes. She was 97. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.She was born Jan. 7, 1915, in Bellfountain to Holiver and Gladys King Holter. She married Louis Anderson on Oct. 31, 1934, in Eugene. He died previously.She was a high school graduate of Bellfountain School. She was a career cook for various state institutions including the state mental health hospital in Salem and Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.Survivors include a son, Larry of Lincoln City; seven grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Bay, and grandson Michael Anderson.Private burial will be at Bellfountain Cemetery. Remembrances to Church of the Harvest in Eugene.
