Lee ChapmanLee E. Chapman of Eugene died Feb. 4 of age-related causes. He was 79. A private celebration of life is planned.He was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Dayton, Ohio, to Clyde and Nellie McCracken Chapman. He married Marion Chace on June 14, 1972, in Eugene. She died in 1992.He worked as a wood grader for a local sawmill, retiring in 1998.Survivors include his domestic partner of 15 years, Linda Stumbaugh of Eugene; three sons, Joseph Puckett of Bellingham, Wash., Jonathan Puckett and Jeffery Puckett, both of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, MaryAnn Leighton of Springfield and Toni Wisely of Clearlake, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy Foster of John Day; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to the Eugene Moose Lodge or Cascade Health Hospice.
