Obituary of Marilyn Stapleton

Marilyn StapletonMarilyn Carlene Stapleton of Eugene, died Feb. 9 of age-related causes. She was 77. A memorial gathering of close family and friends will be held at a later date.She was born Jan. 4, 1935, in Kearney, Neb., to Rayman and Carlene Curtis Grams. She married Clifford Stapleton on July 6, 1952, in Springfield. He died June 13, 2011.She graduated from Willamette High School. She worked for 25 years as a cook for the Eugene and Bethel school districts.Survivors include two sons, Michael and Randy, both of Eugene; a daughter, Kathy Stancliff of Roseburg; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Stapleton.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
