Obituary of Lyman Fisk

JUNCTION CITY — Lyman H. Fisk of Junction City died Feb. 7 of age-related causes. He was 97. No service is planned.He was born May 26, 1914, in Ashland, Wis., to Henry and Jessie Amburgy Fisk. He married Erma Williams on June 17, 1939, in Hayward, Wis. She died Sept. 29, 2008.He graduated from high school and worked as a welder in the Kaiser Shipyards.He worked in the logging industry and co-owned Midway Auto Wreckers until he retired.Survivors include a son, Lyman of Sacramento; two daughters, Virginia Spurkland and Nancy DeGroot, both of Portland; two sisters, Margaret Crosland of Sisters and Marge Ohm of Spokane and Cable, Wis.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
