Obituary of Annina Risi

Annina (Anna) RisiBorn Annina Castellucci in Sora, Frosinone Italy, the second of 7 children, she moved to Canada in her mid-forties where she met and married her husband, Michele Risi. It was during these years that she became known to many as Anna.Predeceased by her husband, Anna died on Tuesday, January 9, 2020 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 97 and a half surrounded by her brother Quirino, sister-in-law Carmela, and nieces Maria, Cecilia, Nicoletta and Teresa. She transitioned peacefully, surrounded by love.She is also survived by her brother Armando and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as great-grand nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and France.She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Glendale Funeral Home on Monday, January 13th, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 at 10:00am in the chapel with entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.If so desired, donations to The Lung Association would be appreciated in Annina's memory.
