Obituary of Connie Luciano

January 8, 2020 with family around her, Connie’s journey came to an end. Her last breaths were peaceful under the care of Hill House Hospice. We are shattered but find solace that her fight is over. Mom is the bravest person we know. Even Doctors were blown away at her tenacity to look cancer in the eye and defy it. We want to thank her entire team at Sunnybrook Hospital including nursing staff, PSW’s and Doctors who were always kind and caring. The ED staff who saved Connie twice and fostered us a blessing of 6 more months. You do make miracles happen. Additionally the home care staff that visited us at home to make daily life manageable. You are doves that brighten dark days. Lastly Hill House, you lifted our family up during the most challenging time. The entire staff are angels that our family could not have gone without. Connie could not be cared for any better. We will love you forever Mom, Concetta, Hurricane Connie, Constance, HERO. Connie is survived by her loving husband Salvatore and her two children Andrea (Mareks) and Marilyn (Francesco) and her beloved granddaughter Olivia. She will be missed by her brother Vince (Ann) many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to Hill House would be appreciated with thanks from the family.
