Obituary of Carmen Fenech

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carmen (nee: Zarb) Fenech on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. Born in Malta on December 25, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Carmel and Josephine Zarb. Beside her parents Carmen was predeceased by siblings George, John, Doris and brother in law Domenic. Immigrating to Canada to capture better life experiences and opportunities, this was also the place where she became a proud wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Leaving with fond and precious memories is her husband of 48 years Christino, children Mary Ann (Fabio), Michael (Sandra), grandchildren Jacob, Matteo, Sofia, Luca, brother Raymond (Mary Anne), sisters in law Rita, Giovanna along with a large circle of close relatives and friends with whom she has left cherished memories and lasting impressions. Carmen’s family will be accepting visitors on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 9:15 am from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial donations in Carmen’s memory are encouraged to donate to a charity of choice.
