Obituary of Evelyn Peacor

Evelyn PeacorA memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Eugene for Evelyn Peacor of Eugene, who died Jan. 28 of age-related causes. She was 91.She was born June 4, 1920, in Portland to Charles and Charlotte Anderson Carlson. She married Harold Peacor on Oct. 25, 1940, in Vancouver, Wash. He died Sept. 19, 1981.She graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland. She was a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Chuck of Eugene and Tom of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. A son, David Peacor, died in 1999.Private inurnment will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice Program.
