Obituary of Florentin Heredia

Florentin Segundo Heredia was born in Morcolla, Peru on October 8, 1949 to the late Alejandro and Zaida Heredia. He died on January 3, 2020 in Mississauga, Ontario surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving Wife, Vilma Heredia, and children Harry, Alejandro (Mariangela), Diana (Ramires), Cindy (Karlo), Franklin, and Liliana (Mike). Grandchildren Emily, Nathan, Antonio, Santiago, Valentina, Gabriella, Sebastian, Lorenzo, Alonzo, Marcelo. He will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters and extended family. His heroic battle through colon cancer was aggressive but short. He received the best care at Credit Valley Hospital by caring and compassionate doctors and nurses who treated him as they would their own family member. He loved music, whether it would be playing instruments (trumpet, accordion, trombone, flute) listening or writing. Music brought joy to his heart. Everyone looked up to him for advice, guidance, and protection. He was a leader, a guardian angel, and a father figure to many who crossed his path. He will be greatly missed.
