Obituary of Jerry Cannon

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Jerry R. Cannon of Gooding, Idaho, formerly of Cedar Flats, who died Jan. 26 of cardiac arrest caused by a pulmonary embolism. She was 79.She was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Clatskanie to Jearl and Edna Boggs Ervin. She married Harlan Cannon on Nov. 10, 1952, in San Bernardino, Calif.She attended some college and worked as an engineering clerk for AT&T for 18 years, retiring in 1984.Survivors include her husband; a brother, Larry Ervin of Gooding; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Patrick Cannon, in 2006.Private inurnment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
