Obituary of Constance Theda Warren

With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Constance (Connie) Theda Warren, who left our family on December 26th, 2019, at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, with her family by her side, after a graceful, courageous battle with congestive heart failure. Connie was predeceased by her parents Louis and Frances Fournier, son Brian and by her twin sister, Patricia Bothwell of Scottsdale, Arizona. Connie was known by her friends and family for the kindness, generosity, fun and love she had for all people, particularly her friends and family. Connie was happiest when spending time with her three grandchildren and her great granddaughter. Connie was married 61 years to Arthur Charles Warren of Timmins, Ontario. Together they had 2 children. Connie is survived by her husband Arthur, her daughter, Lorie Ann Warren and her three grandchildren Michael, Anthony and Hannah, and her only great granddaughter, Abigail Warren, all of Ottawa, Ontario. Family and friends are invited to visit at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, 613-692-1211 on Thursday, January 2 from 5:00 pm – 7:00pm, and on Friday, January 3 from 1:00pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00pm.To the staff at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice and especially to Dr. Cross, whose compassion and skill eased Mom's passing, the most sincere gratitude. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Care Ottawa, who made this final journey in Connie's last days as simple as circumstances allowed. The Warren family prays that other Ottawa families may have the benefit of this compassionate help at their difficult time as well.
