Mrs. Shou-Jean Chan (1938-2019)Shou Jean Chan passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga on Monday, December 23, 2019, at the age of 85. Born in Hoi Ping, Guangdong, China on March 18, 1938, Shou Jean was a devoted daughter to the late Ng Chau Ho (mother) and the late Fong Yik Chun (father.) Predeceased by her younger siblings Fong Kam Chi (brother) and Fong Bik Sheung (sister.) Loyal wife to late husband Bing Keung Chan. Loving mother to her only daughter Linda Yim Ping Wong and son-in-law Simon Chiu Ling Wong. Adored grandmother to Tania (Michael,) Joanna (David,) and Dorcas (Dennis.) Proud great grandmother to Aidan, Ethan, Zion, Aaliyah, and Liam. Friends and Family are welcome to Scott Funeral Home (420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga) on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. with service at 7 p.m. Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery and Funeral Services in Ottawa at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
