Obituary of Gregory Phair
Gregory peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family, on December 21, 2019 at the age of 62. Reunited with his father R. Laverne and mother Yvonne. Survived by his loving wife Marlene, with whom he shared 44 years. Will be deeply missed by his children, Shanon (James Jubinville), Robert (Jennifer Martin), and Michael (Andrea Phair). His grandchildren; Shane, Marleah, Griffin, Sadie, Jaxon, and Annabelle. His siblings; Ray(Lindy), Gary(Lisa), Bonnie(Steve), and Jeff(Karen). His extended family; Frances Brown aka the mother in law, Kim(Barb), Chris(Doug), and Anita. As well as his nieces and nephews and their families. Greg was born into a five pin bowling family and enjoyed the sport well into his fifties. It would be expected that you could always find the Phair family at a bowling alley on a Saturday morning coaching through the winter, then transitioning to Roberts baseball come spring. Greg embraced the opportunity to share his love of sports with anyone that would listen. As the Toronto Maple Leafs would start their golf season, so would he. Greg was dedicated to his family, his friends, his love of sports, his golf "career" and his many years in Logistics and Distribution management. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Carlo Fidani Peel Regional Cancer Centre at Credit Valley Hospital. A special thank you to the wonderful team who saw Greg through his final week in the ICU Department. Your care and support for Greg and his family, will forever be cherished. Forever he will be missed by all those he touched. In lieu of flowers, you may Donate to The Trillium Health Partners Foundation
