Obituary of Heather Kim McCaffery

Heather Kim McCaffery, May 19, 1964 passed peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice on December 19, 2019 at age 55 after a two year battle with brain cancer.Heather was born in Oshawa Ontario and moved to Ottawa as a child. She loved all things girly. After graduating Sir Robert Borden High School she studied Dental Assisting at Algonquin College which allowed her to focus on her true passions: shopping and knitting.Heather is survived by her husband of 30 years, Patrick and their three children Kayla (Katelyn), Griffin, Ryker and will be joining her beloved canine companion Vegas. Survived by parents Roy and Essie Beckman, brothers Brian and Rob. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. A formal Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Monday December 23, 2019 at 10:00am at the Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery at 3700 Prince of Wales (613 692-1211). Friends are invited to visit beforehand from 09:00am until time of Celebration in the Chapel from 10:00-10:30am, followed by an onsite gathering until noon. A private interment service will follow.
