Obituary of Anne Longarini
With profound sadness, the family of Anne Longarini announces her sudden passing on December 16, 2019 at the age of 98. Born in Noëlville, Ontario , Anne was the beloved wife of the late Elvino Longarini (Blackie). Together, they raised their family in the town of Copper Cliff. She will be deeply missed by her children Norman (Donna), Denis (Sandra), Donald (Wendy) and Lorraine Drake (Michael). She is the cherished daughter of Elisabeth Beaulieu and André Séguin. Coming from a large family, Anne was predeceased by her siblings Louis (Cécile), Isidore (Terry), Gabriel (Claire), Collette Demers (Leo), and Robert (Shirley). She is survived by Raymond (Hélène), Bernadette Champagne (Yvan), Alma Roy (Armand), Andrée Gauvreau (Rhéaume ), Hélène Greco (Don) and François (Dyan). Fondly known as Mémère, she shared a great sense of humour and kindness with her grandchildren, David (Katie), Shawn (Kristen), Tiffany, Peter (Amanda), Jennifer (Pierre), Anne Marie (Kevin), Kyle (Alexandra), Victoria (Daniel) and Cody. She was also a proud great-grandmother to 7 great- grandchildren. During her life, Anne was an excellent seamstress, cook, avid bowler, keen bird-watcher and enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was an active member of the Società Italiana di Copper Cliff and the CWL of St. Stanislaus Parish in Copper Cliff. Anne moved to Mississauga in 1989 and lived there until her death. Her family will forever miss her witty remarks and colourful stories from her life. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the first responders and the emergency staff at the Credit Valley Hospital for their care and compassion.
