Obituary of Philip Ridge

After a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, with family by his side. Peacefully, heaven received an angel on December 15, 2019 at the age of 60.Philip, a retired OC transpo operator after 30 years of service will truly be missed. Beloved Husband of Kim and cherished Father of Samantha. Philip is the son of Audrey (Nee Galt) and the late David T. Ridge. Loving Brother to Gwyneth (Bob), Anthony (Thi) and David (Tammy). He will be greatly missed by his Nieces and Nephews, Amanda, Adam, Brittany, Kaitlyn, and Matthew along with his Great Nephews Parker and Reese. Fondly missed by his Uncle Richard and Aunt Diane Ridge as well as Cousins Chad and Monica. Many thanks to Philip’s Palliative care team and Dr. P Ghattas.A Celebration of life will be held at Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 12:30-2:30p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
