Obituary of Myrtle Rout

Rout, Myrtle Eleanor, nee Beard - July 19- 1939 to Dec 12, 2019 - Passed away peacefully into the presence of our Lord, in the early hours of December 12, 2019. Myrtle leaves behind her four children, Peter (Valerie), David (Carol), Timothy (Aimie) and Susan (Gerry Lane). Grandmother to Simon (Amelia) and Maggie Rout, Natalie, Elizabeth (Brian Rivers), Stephanie, Victoria, Madison, Emma, Ava and Spencer Lane. Greatgrandmother to Danni-Lynne, Christopher, Cheyanne and Destiny Rivers. Former husband Bill. Myrtle was the one and only child of the late Rev. Stanley and Evaline Beard, of Toronto. As a child she learned to play the piano and used that ability to play in church and later for services in various nursing homes. She was the master of playing hymns. A visitation will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home - Newmarket Chapel, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, Ont, 905-898-2100 on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 10am-11am with a service to follow at 11am.
