Obituary of Elsa fixme

ELSA ESQUIBEL/CULLENJanuary 17, 1941 – December 8, 2019Lovingly holding the hands of her daughters, Elsa passed away peacefully at the age of 78 after a brave seven year journey with cancer. Despite her health diagnosis, she continued to exemplify the strong woman she was, always maintaining a positive outlook, and never allowing it to break her spirit. Her continuous faith in God was an inspiration to many with her ability to provide comfort to others while going through her own struggles. She was born in Uruguay, South America immigrating to Canada about 50 years ago, as a young married mother to begin a new life. Accomplishments were many…learning a new language, experiencing a new culture, flourishing in a new career while continuing to provide a loving home for her family. In the years that followed, many stepping stones would bring new opportunities and relationships; working at Alcan was certainly a significant one. It was here where Jack captured her heart, a love that would span over 26 years experiencing special moments that would last their lifetimes through. Her memory will always live in the hearts of her children Beatriz (Ruben) and Grace (Cameron), Jack’s children Lynne (Jim), Nicola and Liam, grandchildren Natasha, Jason, Chantal, Patrick, Adriana, Vanessa, Brayden, Lisa (Craig), Zachary, Sydney, Sabrina, Nikolas, Jack’s great-grandchildren Sophie, Noah, Owen and the many family and friends who were blessed to know her.She is now reunited with her love Jack, sister Alejandra, brothers Pepe, Ariel, her parents and the family and friends who have been waiting for her.To us, she will always be our rock who lived life as a loving wife, the best mother ever, doting ‘abuela’, fun loving ‘tia’, adoring ‘Elsie’, loyal friend and one of the most kind, generous and faithful souls to have touched our lives. Please join us in celebrating the years that made Elsa so special to all of us, on Tuesday, December 17th at Glen Oaks Funeral Home at 3164 Ninth Line in Oakville.
