Marion McNamaraMarion June McNamara of Eugene died March 2 of age-related causes. She was 93. A memorial Mass is planned for later at St. Benedict’s in McKenzie Bridge.She was born June 1, 1918, in Modesto, Calif., to Oliver and Cynthia Willman Peterson. She married Ed McNamara on Aug. 13, 1959, in Carson City, Nev. He died Aug. 16, 2011.She graduated from San Jose High School in California.She worked as the executive secretary to the head of the science department at San Jose State College during the 1950s and 1960s.Survivors include two daughters, Shay Walling of Larkspur, Calif., and Candy Caldwell of Lafayette, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
