Obituary of Giorgio Pietrangelo

Giorgio Pietrangelo passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 8, 2019.Giorgio is survived by his wife, Edda (nee Di Tommaso), of over 48 years, daughter Antonietta Gabriella (Cesare), son Paolo (Anna), brothers Tony (Anna) and Sam (Diane), sisters Lina (Frank), Fiora, Maria (Walter) and Rosa (Cosmo) and a big extended family. Giorgio was a loving husband and father, and friend to everyone. His most valued role was that of proud Nonno to Simona, Lucas, Daniel and Matthew.A lover of the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and fixer of anything and everything. Most of all, Giorgio was a family man and wanted nothing more than to open his home, cook some food, cut some prosciutto, and enjoy the company.Visitation to be held at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Road in Etobicoke on Thursday, December 12th from 5-9 p.m., Friday, December 13th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Transfiguration of our Lord Catholic Church, 45 Ludstone Drive in Etobicoke on Saturday, December 14th at 12 p.m. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
