Alene PowellAlene Josephine Powell of Eugene died March 3 of age-related causes. She was 81. Private services are planned.She was born April 20, 1930, in Eugene to John and Ruth Brownfield Ziolkowski. She married Albert Raymond Powell on Sept. 21, 1958, in Portland. He died in April 2010.She held a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Oregon. She was co-owner of Mill Race Restaurant in Eugene and worked as a real estate agent for TLC Real Estate in Eugene.Survivors include a son, Wesley of The Woodlands, Texas; a sister, Betty Guttenberger of Reedsport; and two grandchildren.
